ACTION ITEM FACT: Most public shelters in California legally kill unweaned puppies and kittens immediately upon entering the shelter. Take these 3 simple steps to bring about changes in shelters in order to save these most vulnerable -- YOUR HELP IS NEEDED! STEP 1 - Educate the public by telling your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers that the problem exists. STEP 2 - Donate to the USSPCO to enable us to produce and distribute Public Service Announcements to radio and televison stations in every community. STEP 3 - Volunteer to help form a foster network to care for these puppies and kittens until they can be found homes. |
